Model Answer 1:
Yes, just in recent several months, my neighbour was decorating his apartment upstairs in our high-rise in the daytime. I was really bothered by the noise of the drills, hammers and other power tools.
I was told that a new neighbour had bought the new apartment and they ripped everything out and started over with bare concrete. Therefore, since then, the noise of hammers, saws, drills seemed endless in the daytime, sometimes even in the weekends. The staccato hammer drill started at the crack of dawn and literally made sleep impossible. I almost could feel that the walls shook and it drove me insane.
I once called the property manager to tell him the situation, hoping he could take some action but he replied to me that the relevant documents of the decoration were complete, so he could do nothing about the inevitable thing. I was really annoyed and frustrated. But what I could do was getting out of my house to do some outdoor activities when the work was doing in unreasonable hours.
